I have a type 1 selected which I believed to be correct on the setup in installation guide, which type should I select? Do I need to shut unit down and re-power for change to take affect?
Thanks

Is it the Kavlico (3 wire) or older style (1 or 2 terminal) sensor? What are the markings on the sensor?

It is the Kavlico 15 psi, 101690-000 I purchased from Dynon Oct 2013. I tried changing the setting type and here are the readings with no fuel in lines
type 1 19.1
type 2 52.5
type 3 19.7
type 4 2.7

If you install a Kavlico sensor on a FlightDEK-D180 (or EMS-D120 or EMS-D10), the firmware must be at least v5.4.2 (explained on the installation instructions packaged with the sensor). Once the firmware is updated, the following are added:
FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR TYPE 5 (Kavlico 5 PSI)
FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR TYPE 6 (Kavlico 15 PSI)
FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR TYPE 7 (Kavlico 50 PSI)

For reference,
FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR TYPE 1 is Dynon P/N 100411-000 ("VDO" 30 PSI for carbureted engines)
FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR TYPE 2 is Dynon P/N 100411-001 ("VDO" 80 PSI for fuel injected engines)
FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR TYPE 3 is GRT LPS-02
FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR TYPE 4 is Stewart Warner 82504-F (15 PSI)

It is the Kavlico 15 psi, 101690-000 I purchased from Dynon Oct 2013.  I tried changing the setting type and here are the readings with no fuel in lines
type 1 19.1
type 2 52.5
type 3 19.7
type 4  2.7
