Fuel Probe type for Sonex

Hello, first post here. Sonex sells two types of probes, a capacitance-type for use on the EIS unit and a resistance-type for Stratomaster units. Sonex says they "don't know Dynon units". I have heard that the Dynon is capacitance-type but want to double check before ordering. I do not have the Dynon itself yet, I'm just working on the tank itself.

We prefer resistive probes. We'll use them direct.

Capacitive probes will require converters. That being said, we interface with probes exactly the same way an EIS does, so I'm guessing the probes they sell for the EIS are capacitive but output a voltage. If this is true, then we can use these just as easily.

I also have capacitance tubes that output 5v, sold by SkySport.  I am about to set up and believe they will work.  But my question is the probes will only measure the lower, or final 2/3 of tank.  When I fill during calibration and the tubes are fully emersed (at 2/3 full) and I am still filling, how will my D180 handle that?

It would read the amount of gallons in the tanks at that 2/3 point, which is the best you can do when you can't actually measure any further than that.

Also, note that we need a variable voltage output with endpoints contained somewhere within the ranges between 0-5V. In other words, if the sensor outputs 5V constantly (usually that would make it a frequency output by pulsing that 5V), it will not work.
