Fuel Tank Calibration

I have the DEK-D180. My Dynon fuel levels were not calibrated during the installation. My tanks are full of gas. DO I really need to empty the tanks to start the calibration procedure or is there an alternate way to calibrate the levels and have them displayed. My fuel flow is reading very accurately and the tanks have an exact quantity of 21 gal. each... all of which is usable.

There is no way to get the fuel levels to display without calibrating the tanks.

Unless you have capacitive senders in that RV-8, you won't be able to measure all your fuel, and without calibration we can't give you accurate numbers.
