FUNKE ATR833

Using and ATR833 in my Auto-Gyro, installed at the factory.
I know the ATR833 and Skyview is connected, selecting TUNE FREQUENCY in airport selection will transfer the airfield frequency to the standby slot.

Have done the:
SETUP MENU > SYSTEM SETUP > SERIAL PORT SETUP > SERIAL PORT x SETUP > SERIAL IN DEVICE >
as well as
SETUP MENU > SYSTEM SETUP > DISPLAY COM IN TOP BAR: YES

Still no frequency display on the top bar.

What can I look for next?

Are you getting a red X in the top bar, or nothing in the upper right side? If nothing, make sure SYSTEM SETUP > PRIMARY COM is set to the ATR833

Did you check the primary COM setting? Also, does the ATR833 have any serial output settings? We tested the feature here with a data capture from the device and not an actual radio, but it did test out OK with a data capture from an actual radio.
