G meter accuracy

My dynon is fitted to an SP91 unlimited aerobatic aircraft. The G meter gives very reliable G readings right up to +v 10G the negative G readings however seem to under read. I fitted a traditional G meter and ran a comparrison -ve 4 on the mechanical showed -ve 2 on the Dynon, any thoughts ?

A few preliminary questions:

Does your panel have any tilt in it? If so, are both the Dynon EFIS and your traditional G tilted by the same amount? Also, if there is tilt, are you using the pitch leveling feature in the Dynon?
