Hi fly a gyrocopter with a 2-bladed teetering rotor. Similar rotor systems are used by many helicopters. They all have in common that negative G is a big No-No you absolutely must stay clear of. The handbook of my aircraft specifies a permitted G range of +0.5 -- +3.5 G. I can enter the upper limit no problem but can't enter the lower one. It seems that SV will only accept negative values for the lower limit.

Can this be changed?

Thanks, -- Chris.

Chris,
Thanks for the info that some aircraft have higher-than-zero limits on their lower G envelope. We'll see if we can get this changed in the user interface.

The good news is that all these settings are saved in a text file, so you can actually edit this today. I've attached a file that will set the yellow line to 0.5G and the red line to 0G. If you open it in any text editor you can see how to set it to any level you want. Just set them and load this file into SkyView with the "load files" option. This will only adjust the two negative thresholds, all others will be edited in the user interface.
