Getting Seattle Avionics approaches to migrate to

Is there a way to select an approach from Seattle Avionics and get the waypoints to migrate into the Dynon flight plan. This way I could more easily navigate to an IAF or intercept an extended FAF like in a Boeing. If in the weather and assigned an approach typing in waypoints on the FP is too cumbersome. Thanks, Mike

Not today. The approaches - although they are georeferenced so that the airplane can be shown on the display - do not have the "data" within them that can be exported in that way. They're essentially pictures of the approaches only.

Additionally, to use a GPS as a primary reference in IFR, it must "meet the requirements of the TSO" which is 800 pages long. Dynon does not make any statements about this for our products, so it's up to you to determine if using SkyView as your only reference is legal. Maybe you are only using it as a secondary reference against a ILS as your primary, which is fine.
