Is it possible to display the Jeppesen Nav data loaded in the GNS430 on Skyview via the Arinc converter?  Seems a bit of overkill to have to pay for and keep updated 2 databases..... (I'm in UK)

The terrain database is totally separate, correct? So I can download the European terrain from your website and I will get HITS if I buy the Synthetic Vision upgrade?

The 430 doesn't send out it's database in any way. If you have two 430's in your plane you have to buy the database twice. Unfortunately, without real-time proof that the database has been purchased, Jeppesen won't let the database be used in multiple places.

If you have multiple Dynon's you only need to buy the database once, since we made sure the Dynon sends out the database to other screens.

Terrain is separate, and is always free from our website.

We don't do HITS today, so I can't answer what the requirements may be to show that.

Every screen we have shipped so far has had SynVis on it, so if you already have a SkyView, you have SynVis.

Sorry, bit of a misunderstanding with the terminology. The synthetic terrain display on the PFD is what you call Synthetic Vision - correct? So if I download the terrain database and buy the SV upgrade, that's what I have?

The synthetic terrain display is what we call Synthetic vision.

Again, while we do allow you to buy a SkyView without Synthetic Vision, as far as I know, nobody ever has. Thus, there is no "upgrade" to buy. Just download the terrain for your region from our website. Every SkyView ships with the USA pre-loaded.
