GNX 375 not talking to SkyView

I have a GNX 375 that is connected to my SkyView system through an ARINC-429 as the only GPS source. The SV is not picking up the GPS from the GNX. Also, the GNX is supposed to get it's altitude encoder information from the SV system through an RS232 port. Neither box seems to be talking to the other. Is the Skyview system compatible with the GNX 375? Or does anyone know of a reason why these would not be working together?
