GP Contact - Info Item

The EMS installation guide says the GP Contacts are "Info Items" only. I can't figure out what that means. Does it mean it will not provide an alert and/or audio signal?

What I would like to do is have my stall warn sw input to a GP Contact, and have the EMS give a self clearing audio warning and drive an external lamp.

Possible?

"Info items" refers to where they are displayed on the screen. The info items are the areas on the right side of the D120 screen or on the aux screen of the EMS-D10.

You can set up a self clearing alarm on these contacts even if they're not currently on the screen. What you want to do will work fine.
