GP Input Confusion

The D180 has three general purpose inputs. Using a Rotax 912 one is for CHT L, one for CHT R, and the third for OAT. It seems (and I am probably wrong) that the inputs can accept more than one input, like the GP #3 being used for trim data AND OAT....is that right? Or does each GP input ONLY support and work with one input.

You can map each GP input to one sensor, but you can choose at setup time which sensor that will be from the list in the installation manual.
You can map multiple GP inputs to a single sensor, which will give you multiple identical displays if that turns you on. You can't map multiple sensors to a single GP input.
