gps garmin 495

I building a rv7a & have installed the Dynon servo's, pitot & static . I'm pritty sure I will have 2 x 10" complete Skyview systems. Can this be linked as back up to a Garmin 495 gps that i already have.

the 495 can provide the hsi gps guidance for navigation to the skyview system; the autopilot will follow that path... you will want a dynon gps receiver as the primary driver for position detail, the 495 would act as a backup.
