The first of the next generation of GPS satellites is launching soon. Sounds like they offer a lot of military and civilian benefit with stronger and new signals.
Wondering - once these upgrades come online in a few years, will Skyview owners need to upgrade anything to make use of them? Will it be just software? Or a change of antenna too?
Seems like all the "me-too" countries are putting up constellations of their own also. Russia, China etc. Wondering if skyview already uses data from these, or plan to in the future?
