Ground Wiring to specific sensor???

Hi all,
I'm nearly done with the EMS installation; all I lack is the fuel flow and the MAP sensors. I pulled the black and red/green wires for the MAP, and thought I'd double check to make sure the black wire was the Pin 17 wire. It wasn't. Evidently I've used the Pin 17 ground for something ELSE; all the other sensors seem to work but it made me think...

If we use one of the black grounds, does it matter which pin it goes to? Can I use a different ground wire for the MAP sensor? Seems to me it shouldn't make any difference, but I thought I'd better check.

All the grounds on the EMS are the same. Feel free to use whichever one is easiest.
