GTN-650

I am upgrading my panel to a GTN-650, two SV1000, Dynon radio, Dynon autopilot, and Dynon transponder.

Considering that the Garmin is also an ADS-B do I also need the Dynon ADS-B or can I cut costs and run with just the Garmin? I want the traffic and would prefer if it was on the SV-1000 screen.

In saying "Dynon ADS-B", we'll guess that you're referring to the Dynon Avionics SV-GPS-2020 high integrity GPS receiver.

The GTN-650 can provide a high integrity GPS data to the SV-XPNDR-261 for compliance with the FAA 2020 ADS-B Out mandate, so you wouldn't have to install the SV-GPS-2020.

To display ADS-B weather and traffic, you'll have to purchase and install the Dynon Avionics SV-ADSB-470.

SkyView will also need GPS for various uses - you can either connect a second serial port from the GTN-650 to the SkyView display, or purchase and install an SV-GPS-250 GPS receiver.
