GTN625 vs GTN650

I am currently running dual SV screens with one Nav/Comm(SL30). I am enabling my RV9A for IFR. I am going the GTN route but wonder if I should purchase the GTN650, remove my SL30 or just add the GN 625. I am also going to get the SV-Comm for my 2nd comm. what is the advantage of running the GTN VOR signal thru the ARNIC vs the SL30 through the TXRX? Obviously cost is me factor that I need to decide on, but what are the operational aspects of the prions?

I would go with the GTN-650 and keep the SL-30 for the Nav/Com redundancy. The price difference bteween the 625 and the 650 is not much.
