Could the new Garmin Transponder, which is reasonably priced and ADSB compliant, be the answer toward having ADSB weather/Traffic display on Skyview in the future or are the Trig type remotes capable?

Dynon's transponder costs the same and has the same features as the Garmin transponder. That Garmin transponder is NOT ADS-B IN, it is ADS-B OUT only, just like the Dynon. It sends your position, but cannot recieve weather or ADS-B traffic.

You should be thanking Dynon for forcing Garmin to release a reasonably priced Mode-S option for experimentals ;) We just did it a year earlier than they did.

Thank You :)
If you've got the hard part out of the way, why not an ADSB receiver?
I've currently got a Skyradar box (relatively inexpensive) and receive weather on my IPAD. Would love to replace that on panel with another Skyview IF it could get weather and traffic.

We'll probably have support for any ADS-B receiver that output's the FAA's standard ADS-B format. Since there are some inexpensive ADS-B products coming to market, that should offer a really compelling solution for SkyView customers.
