GTX330

Could someone help me with settings for the skyview talking to a GTX330. Also the settings on the 330 to talk to the skyview.

I have hex code in both units set the same. Skyview serial set to correct port (3 in this case) and selected garmin GTX 330.

The GTX 330 ive set on the 232 port "remote" for both.

The problem i have is that no ALT is being transmitted. code on the skyview displays as 7000 irrespective of the code on the 330. (on turn on the sky view does display for 1 second the 330 code) and finally the skyview is not changing the code on the 330.

TX & RX data is counting but its not being applied where it should be !

It sounds like data isn't actually flowing in either direction. You're neither getting altitude to the 330 (as evidenced by its message) nor getting any information back to be displayed on the top bar. One thing that comes to mind - is it possible that you have the TX and RX wires connected to themselves? (IE, TX from SkyView should go to RX on 330, and vice versa).
