ha34 and timer

I just installed an HS34 with EFIS d100 and Ems d120 with a Sl30 and GNC 300xl. It work really well. There just one thing. I am working on my IFR and a am not able to adjust the timer with the value knob. Is it just me or it's not suppose to work

The knob does not affect the timers.
