Have Version 4 but no roads/rivers/cities show

So I updated to Skyview 4.0 and have installed version 4.0 FAA av and obstacle databases, but I still do not see roads, towns, etc!

I tested it today more thoroughly by being on the ground, and using the scrolling cursor function on the map page to move to nearby cities like Little Rock, Springfield, and St. Louis. Then, centered on those areas, I zoom in and out -no roads, nothing like that!

I did a system backup file that I can email or inspect if needed, but my settings regarding these elements are:
Mega City 500, Large 120, Medium 20, Small 12, Motorways 200, Primary Roads 8, Railroads 20, Rivers 20.

What might I be doing wrong or have set incorrectly? What observations can I make or tests can I do to help with diagnosing this?

bill, same thing after i went to 4.0 had to load the new firmware, map update, and faa obstcle data.... i had to load them all seperate, the bundled download would not work, even dyon said to do them seperate after a tech call. they had issues with some users.

AHA! I think I may have neglected to install the hi rez 4.0 "base map"! So I intend to apply the 4.0.1. update (I had previously done the 4.0.0), then the base map, then the latest AV data then the latest ob data.

Problem solved. Even though I did the 4.0.1 update, it was likely just that the hi Rez base map had not been installed.
