HDX 7' screen size.

Question for people who have the HDX 7' screen if your happy with the screen size, text size and resolution. Thinking about installing two, because the 10' HDX would be offset to the right of the yoke to fit properly. Thanks for any input.

I have one 10" screen & always wish for 2 however not possible in my panel - 2 x 7" screens just doesn't work for me.

I have one 10" and one 7" and I use the 10" all the time and wish the 7 was a 10--but then I'm no spring chicken!

I fly with a 10” and a 7” - good fit for the RV-8 panel. The 7” is used for EMS and long range map (keep an eye on weather, TFRs and such). The 10” is moving map and PFD.

I have done test using only the 7” for an IFR approach (simulates the 10” failed). Not as nice as the 10” but perfectly useable.

If possible I suggest not doing two 7” displays.

Thinks for the info. I wish the 10' would fit better and not offset to the right of the yoke. Reason I think am going with two 7' is I could use one full screen for PFD info, the other for map. That's my thought anyway.
