HDX and radios. Upgrade Question

Tossing around the idea of upgrading my classic skyview displays to HDX. Since the HDX can tune radios (not push a free but an actual keypad) could I ditch the radio heads and just use the HDX for tuning comm 1 and 2?

No. Although you can control many radio functions from the HDX, you can't control all of them. I'd have to research to determine which ones, but the main point is you need a radio control panel. You also need a radio control panel for each Dynon radio installed. You can only transfer frequencies from the HDX to com 1. You cannot transfer them to com 2. There was another thread about this recently. I'll see if I can find it.
