As much a I love the auto dimming function of HDX it dives me crazy every time I turn on any red lighting in the cockpit. The screen goes immediately to full brightness. Is there any way to immune the ambient light sensor from red light? Or is there any way to connect an external sensor so that it can be placed free from cabin lights?
