Have dual hdx's + Garmin 796 in Sport Cruiser and have seen the 4 hdx training videos by Kurk. Are there any more and more comprehensive videos available. I have reviewed the 6 regular Skyview videos, but don't see a lot of help for training on the hdx. Maybe I am not even asking this in the correct FlyDynon Forum section. Thanks for helping train an old guy!

We don't have any HDX-specific ones at the moment, but they're on the list to produce in the future.

I made a couple videos that shows some of the features of the HDX- it is not a training video but you might pick up a few things and you can see how I use the HDX in the air on a real flight. I am still learning the finer points of the system and discovering my own preferred workflow every flight...I hope they are helpful to you.

Dropped off the airplane to commence the HDX install this morning. Now that my install has begun, I would like to start learning the button pushing. In the training videos on the website, the class members are using a desktop simulator...is this setup available or is there a virtual version that can be downloaded and used to learn the SkyView HDX and D10A systems prior to first flight?

There isn't currently, however, you might check out our YouTube channel, where we have a series of "Virtual Booth Visits" that have pretty comprehensive feature demonstrations and "how tos" that are quite a bit newer than the older recorded classes for SkyView HDX. We'll also be starting a more educational-focused "HDX Academy" that goes even deeper.

Yes, the videos are great and I’ve been working my way through the entire set. An on screen simulation would allow some free form interaction and enable new users to start developing muscle memory for where to go within the software trees and test out various display options. What you have is good, and if you ever decide to set up a software simulation, I’m sure that would be well received too!

On line training would be great, a PC/mac simulator would be even better!
