I just fired up my instrument panel (Glasair) for the first time and I can't get the heading to show on the D10. it is in my garage. Everything else works fine.

Hi Lory,
The EFIS-D10 doesn't show the heading until it is calibrated.
If you would like to see the heading before calibration, you can find it in the CLUTTR option under the SETUP menu. You are looking for HDG.
Note that until you calibrate the heading via the procedures outlined in the installation guide, the heading being displayed will not be accurate.

thanks for the reply so quickly. Now I have to wait until I can find a PC laptop!! for all my onboard equipment. that is what happens to us Mac users!

To calibrate the EFIS-D10 you do need the PC laptop. However, if you want to view the heading tape in its uncalibrated state you simply navigate in the EFIS-D10 menu to the SETUP , and then CLUTTR submenu.
