Help! No Radar Data Box

I have loved my SkyView system since I put it in. It has only gotten better over time. I have had a full ADS-B system since day one back in Oct 2013. I have just recently upgraded to v16 and I am stuck. I am not seeing the little box of radar data times on the lower left corner of the map display. I have the weather layer turned on. Last night in the hangar I was messing around trying to figure out what is different and on the weather layer the screen button shows "wx|o>"...well it is not exactly like that but close. I can't replicate it in this text. I will take a pic and add it here. I have been pouring over the manual and I am stuck. What am I missing? Love to chat wit somebody if you have an answer.

So it's not just me. I had to run errands all day today even though it was a wonderful flying day. I wanted to get up and see what I could learn but did not have the chance. You have the exact same problem I have. What's up with that?

The box still shows in the manual, so removing it must be an “undocumented feature”,

Gents - I emailed tech support today and included the screen shots from RV8JD and will gladly share anything I get from them. Love to learn if any of us have learned there are others out there that have noticed this or if there is a sneaky fix we are not aware of.

It does appear a bug was introduced on that. I found that if I pressed the MAP BUTTON, Pressed MAP MENU, scroll down to INFO ITEMS and set LEFT 4 to OFF, the data block reappears. I am guessing it is mapping some area that is in conflict with the WX data block. I am writing it up for engineering to sort out. Meanwhile there is a work around to get the data block back.

It's a bit distressing that after a year and a half, these sorts of bugs weren't caught in testing...missing ADS-B Status, missing winds aloft, etc.

Perhaps they need more Beta testers <wink>?

And apparently it only affects the Classic screens - my HDX is unaffected running 16.0.4.
