High oil presure reading

The last two flights, my oil preasure has been showing 95/96 psi , sounding the warning buzzer and then dropping back to 75/80 psi. I usually ran about 65psi to 70 psi. I realise that winter is upon us , today we had around -8C , but I don't recall having 75/80 psi last winter.
Where should I start looking for my problem. I am using a D120.

As I suspected, although I didn't find anything wrong it must have been the ground. I have a s.s. hose clamp with a ground wire soldered to it, leading to a stud on the engine. It was tight, but I loosened the clamp and re-tightened it and went flying. 65 psi. and all worked fine. I would say it had to be the ground.

I was going to suggest that grounding may be something you should look at, but it appears you have handled it.

Grounding on those sensors is critical to reliable oeration. Reading fluccuations from any resistive sender should always have the grounds checked first before anything else.
