High or odd oil temperatures

I have read posts from some time ago about problems with the Dynon sender. I was seeing odd and very high (250s) oil temperatures with cool exhaust gas temperatures and cylinder head temperatures. I tried all kinds of fixes increasing airflow to my oil cooler. Finally I replaced the sender with the GRT that has its own ground. That solved the problem I was chasing for a long time.
