Horizon "wandering"-problem

Hello!

Since a few flights back our D100 acts strangely now and again. Suddenly the horizon wanders downwards, so that after a short while all is "blue sky" in the display. The rest of the values and instruments in the display remain normal. Restarting the EFIS has so far solved the issue, but is of course not a solution. Any input would be appreciated!

Kindly

Two things to look into: Is airspeed correct? If it's vastly wrong, that can cause issues with attitude. So can excessive vibration in the panel. If neither of those have changed, but the stability of the attitude indicator has, then we may need to take a look at your unit here.

Hi!

Thanks for a fast reply!

The airspeed has not behaved strangely, as far as anyone has noticed. The horizon has both sunk to only display sky, as risen to only display ground. I got report today that also the compass has spun. So there are a few different indications that something is not quite right. Sometimes after a few minutes the horizon snaps back to normal position.

We have no excessive vibrations in the panel. The aircraft is a Evektor Eurostar SL (known as SportStar in the U.S.) manufactured 2011.
