I finished my installation Feb 1, 2005. I'm an A&P/IA and sought and received a field approval from the FAA to install it in my Cessna 172. I fly a lot of hard IFR and although my EFIS installation is as a standby or secondary instrument, I find it corrolates to each of the certificated instruments almost exactly and with the internal battery it is a great safety feature to have available while in the clouds and low IFR. Since Feburary I have logged about 12 hours of instrument time with the Dynon D10A along for the ride. The Remote Compass and OAT is a nice feature to have as you can then display the OAT/Density Altitude and True Airspeed. I can be contacted at johnr@andycable.com and will be glad to advise those wishing to install this unit in their airplane.
