I've gone through the Map Items list but can't find "Traffic" mentioned anywhere. I'd like to have traffic appear only when the map is zoomed down to a certain point (maybe 5 or 8nm). Seeing our local ClassB traffic all stacked up, obscuring my plane, when zoomed out to 20nm is just an absolute mess. Am I missing the setting somewhere else?

There isn't a way to configure traffic in the same way as the other items. There is a higher level item in SETUP MENU > TRAFFIC that lets you configure whether you see all traffic, traffic alerts only (traffic that's a factor), or none.
