First of all, sorry if this is posting is not in its proper forum.
I have Garmin Lidar sensor in my airplane, connected to a ESP32 board that displays the height. It is not super fancy as the new GHA 15 height advisor from Garmin but it does the trick.
I am considering (if possible) the idea of having the height being displayed in the Skyview (instead of or repeating the info from the ESP32 board). I guess the right route is to use one of the EMS General Purpose Input pins.
Does anyone has experience having an external sensor/microcontroller connected to the EMS? Any guidance on how to do that will be much appreciated.
