HS-34 How Many Inputs?

How many GPS inputs can the HS-34 handle?

I currently have a GNS-430 (GPS/VOR) for the HS-34.  I also want to panel mount my Garmin 496.  Can I hook it up to the HS-34 to drive the autopilot via the EFIS/ AP-74?  I would like to be able to switch between the Garmin 496 and GNS-430.

When you use the HS34, all nav sources are connected to it.

Yes you can connect the 430 and the 496 to the HS34 and use the buttons on the HS34 to select between the sources.

You will use both ARINC inputs for the 430 and the 496 will be connected to one of the HS34 serial ports.

There are diagrams of how to hook this up in the install manuals.
