I am installing a d 100,d 180,av map 4,sl30, and a garmin 300. Can the hs 34 handle 2 gps's and 2 navs?

Yes. See the Wiki for wiring each of those devices.

With the HS34, you have two RS232 serial ports and 2RX/1TX ARINC ports...

You can use one RS232 port for your GPS and one for your SL30.

The SL30's primary and standby NAV data/interfacing all happens over one serial port.

You would use the included ARINC ports for the 300XL.
