HS34 firmware

I'm prepairing to install the HS34. Currently have the AP74. I'm I correctly understanding that I have to do a separate firmware update for the HS34, using the serial port wiring on the HS34 unit? Should I do the D100 update befor or after the HS34? Also, should the DSAB wires be attached in parallel with the AP74 wires or directly to the D100?

The HS34 dose get its own firmware update through its own serial port, unlike the AP74 which gets it through the D100. Doesn't matter how you have them hooked up - all of the DSAB wires are basically electrically shorted together. Ideally, you want to update the D100/AP74 disconnected from the without the HS34, and vice versa, so that may drive how things are physically connected. You can update them in any order.
