IAS colors

just loaded 2.11 on the D10A before delivering a CT Light Sport Aricraft to a customer in PEI. All works really well(especially the OAT now) and I am really happy with the instrument and the new firmware.
One problem I have since 2.11 is that the IAS color bars don't show anymore.
Is this a new problem ?

I'm not sure exactly what you mean when you say that the color bars don't show anymore. Do you mean that they used to show with previous firmware, then you upgraded, and now they do not? Or do you mean that they do not set correctly from the support program? Or perhaps something else? Note that as of the 02.09.01 software update, the airspeed tape color setup is done on the EFIS in the setup menu under the menu item IASCLR. Uploading this data using the support program is no longer supported.

Additionally, what wsa the version of software that you were upgrading from?

I upgraded from 02.09.01 to 2.11 and since the IAS color bars are GREY. They showed before in 2.09. Yes, I am aware that I set the bars at the instrument directly.

Try setting VS0 to 10 Knots via the EFIS. Does this make the white portion of the airspeed tape visible on the EFIS when it is at rest?

Also, was the unit previously upgraded TO 02.09.01 with airspeed colors already set via the support program? Or were the bars originally set via the menu system in 02.09.01.

the unit arrived with 2.09 and I had programmed the colors. Then the unit was upgraded and then the colors were gone. I'll try the VS0 10 kts proposal when I am at the aircraft next time.
