Hi,
I have a skyview system connected via serial interface to my GNC 255. I believe that the skyview sends GPS data continuously to the GNC 255. I would like to inhibit this so that I can share this transmit line with another device (two devices transmitting on the one line). I want he skyview to send comm and nav frequencies when i request them and OBS setting. The rest of the time I want it quiet so I can also send comm frequencies from another source on the same line. I am happy with the mechanism for electrically sharing the line, but I need the Skyview to be not transmitting at any time other than when I specifically initiate a change on the skyview terminal.
