Gentlemen, there must be a way to add this instrument to the panel of a certified airplane
(in my case, an N-model Bonanza). As long as none of the required certified instruments are removed and the Dynon D10A is simply added to the panel, why not? With the unit's standby
battery, the airplane now has triple redundancy for attitude information, all that extra info and a very easy scan pattern that makes for a truly safe and easy to fly IFR airplane. You would think
that the Fed would find a way to make this happen. Your input please, thanks!

There have been very mixed results with people successfully completing the 337 process with any uncertified EFIS device. The EFIS does require connection to pitot and static lines to work properly, and this makes things more complex. The FAA appears to be concerned about how "compelling" the EFIS displays are and if people will truly use them as backups.

There was another thread on this earlier:

Good luck!
