I wish to add a Monkworkz Aux Alternator as a backup for my B and C Alternator. It will be in parallel to main alt and be wired on the switched side of battery contactor, using shunt as for main alternator.

I am unsure which pins to wire the fusible links for this shunt , so I can monitor current flow on my Skyview. I've looked at install manual and haven't clearly worked out what to do. Can someone advise me . thanks Jeff R Australia.

Jeff - no need to change the shunt wiring shown in the EMS section in the Dynon install manual as you probably have a switch for alt 1 or alt 2 ie not both on at the same time. That way when you switch to alt 2 ( Monkworkz) it will read it’s current & same applies to alt 1 (B&C).
pm if you wish.

Monkworkz MZ-30L has an output called Prorortional Current that can go to a Skyview EMS General Purpose input.

Skyview EMS supports only one current shunt.
