I have two D-100s and standalone EMS from i-k technologies that I'm looking to replace with 2 7" SVs, one ADAHRS and one EMS kit. I have an S-LSA so can't do the work myself so was wondering if anyone had a guess on the hours of labor involved in replacing the D-100's and hooking up the SV-EMS probes? I realize this is, at best, a ballpark guess.

If you have side-by-side seating, I bet you will not be happy with the opposite side 7" screen. The text is too small to read. I have a 10" on pilot's side and a 7" on co-pilot's (wife's) side and she complains all the time. I can't read it at all from my side.

I had to install the autopilot servos, fabricate and install a rack for the ADAHRS, run all of the wires, remove 4 of the "steam gauges" re-plumb vacuum lines and cut out a hole in the panel. Also factor in time to mount the backup battery. It took me approx. 40 hours. It may take others less time - but my aging back cannot crawl under the panel like it used to!
