Installing AP74/Servos with existing 180 and HS34

Gentlemen,

I installed all the avionics in N40BY which include a FlightDEK 180 and HS34 tied to a Garmin 430W. I love my avionics, but now wish to add the AP74.

Perhaps I am not smart enough to find this in the installation documentation, but does the AP74 take the place of the HS34 or can they all operate together?

Please, just a bit of basic "this is what you need to do" help here.

It does not take the place of it. The HS34 uniquely has the ARINC-429 hardware to interface with the 430, and buttons/knobs that are centered around controlling the HSI and your NAV sources. Think of the AP74 as a set of buttons/knob to control the AP.
