Hi, I have upgraded my Garmin GPS 795 to the Aera 760. The 795 interfaced perfectly with my D10A, the AERA 760 does not - it simply shows 'Waiting for GPS fix'. It also worked fine with my Garmin Aera 550 when it was connected.
I am using the D10A on auto settings, and the Garmin on 'NMEA Out 4800 baud' - Normal mode, this was the same as the 695 - I only use the TX out from the GPS.
Any ideas of how to fix or even to troubleshoot to see if it is the 760 is supplying the correct protocols, something must be right as the D10A recognises that it is connected and there must be some 'handshaking' going on?
I have followed the GPS Serial Compatibility and configuration settings procedure for AERA settings but it is a newly released Garmin unit...
Thanks
