Intermittant lines appearing on screen

We have an issue that has only just started with our D100. While flying, there are lines that appear across the screen randomly. Sometimes there might be only one or two lines, while other times, upto 20 or so lines appear for a split second and then disappear. The frequency ranges from 3 seconds to over a minute between the appearances. It looks a bit like a analog video signal that just isn't quite tuned in.

The whole time, the EMS120 never missed a beat, and turning off other possible sources of interference (all other avionics, strobes) didn't make any difference.

Throughout the flight, there were no other apparent issues with the instrument, just these flickering lines. This has started after over 70hrs flying without any issues.

Any ideas?

This sounds like something loose inside the D100. I can't imagine how you could make this error happen from outside the box with interference or loose wires. Unfortunately, that means it needs to come here to get fixed.

Send us a email at support at dynonavionics.com or give us a call at 425-402-0433 and we can get you set up with a return.
