Internal backup battery not working

I have a D100 with the internal backup battery. Normally, when I switch the Master switch off, the D100 goes to backup power and I power it off manually. This has stopped happening. the backup battery seem to be O.K., when I leave the master on, it charges up from 13V. to 16.1V. so the battery must be O.K. and connected, but it won't power the unit.
Any suggestions?

First, confirm you're running the latest firmware available (5.4 currently as of July '11), and that you don't have keep alive connected. If either of these things aren't the case, start there.

Beyond those troubleshooting steps, get in touch with our tech support department for further help.
