Are there special instructions or guidelines when installing an internal backup battery into a D-180? Any issues with voiding a warranty, etc, etc, etc?
There's an appendix that addressee the internal battery installation in the FlightDEK-D180 installation guide. It can be found at http://www.dynonavionics.com/docs/support_documentation.html
No, installing the battery will not void your warranty. It is a user-serviceable item.
