I did not wire or install my DEK-180 in my RV-8. When building the RV we ordered the Dynon Harness and an internal battery. I have read and use the Installation and Operating manuals frequently to solve most problems. Two issues that I can not resolve are:
1) How do I verify the state of the internal battery since I need to turn on the aircraft master switch to power the D-180? [Note] the clock time is lost when I power down.
2) How do I turn on or connect the "Keep Alive Power" feature ?
3) Every time I power up my "Fuel Used" from the last flight resets to "Zero". How do I keep this amount to help me with my fuel remaining calculations?
