Hi Tom. I am about to install an autopilot in a friends 360. Can I ask how you connected the roll servo to the linkage? His is et up in such a way that the entire roll linkage assembly rotates when the sticks are moved in the pitch axis. Is this a standard Lancair 360 set up? If so, how did you attach the roll servo to the linkage?

Brett,

Yes, the roll interconnect tube rotates during pitch motion. The attachment of the servo control to that rotating tube has to allow for full motion in all those axes.

Can't put pictures here for some reason, but look at my post from lancairtalk.net

http://lancairtalk.net/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=335&hilit=servo

The second picture shows the attach bracket from the servo roll control arm to the roll interconnect tube. This is from an S-Tec 50 autopilot that I removed. You may be able to buy two of these brackets. Need one for pitch also. Otherwise, you have to fabricate this. The dynon generic autopilot installation kit includes everything else.
