Lost audio alerts somehow

Guess I'm not too observant, but somewhere in the recent updates to the software, I have lost the audio alerts. Prior to bringing the plane to the airport, I recall hearing the system announce "Dynon" or something like that as it powered up. But I get no announcements now.

I checked the volume control in the system set-up, and it appears that all is where it should be.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

We haven't heard of any issues with audio like this, and it works for sure for us on our test bench and in our planes. Does it work when you are in the audio adjustment area? It should say the various statements when you are in there.

Do you have the audio run out from all your SkyView screens if you have more than one?

Does your intercom/audio panel allow you to shut off the alerts from SkyView?

I get no audio feedback during the Audio volume set/test. I have more than one screen and the audio outputs are daisy chained together and sent to the Garmin GMA240 audio panel.

What should I check next?

Thanks

Russ:

Did you try getting into the audio setup on both displays? When a display is in audio setup, the audio from ONLY that unit is being output. If you get into the audio setup on each unit, you'll be testing each display's audio individually.

Does the audio panel have a gain control that you can adjust?

A few things to try: Have on only one display at a time (by turning one off with button 1). Then go into the audio menu with each display, and adjust the volume (when you're in the volume adjust, you get repeating audio to help in the adjustment). Does that change anything? Also, if you put an AC multimeter between either the left or right channel and ground, you should see periodic activity when in the volume setup.
