I'm trying to hook up my RPM wires to a Rose Electronic Ignition. The Manual states that the low voltage RPM wires are the Blue and the Green. There are two twisted pairs of Blue and Green wires. I can't see all the way back to the DSUB because I've long since installed the bundle into the airplane and it's shielded with heat shrink. Are these redundant wires split at the DSUB? Thanks for the help.

We do suggest in the manual that you remove the wires that go to pins 36/37. There is no easy way to tell the two green/blue pairs apart if you can't see where they go.

If your SkyView is working, you can go into EMS setup and configure a thermocouple on pins 36/37, and then short the wires together. When shorted, they should read ambient temp, and when unshorted they will read a random temp. This should help you figure out which ones are the pair you don't want.
