Magnetometer Wiring

I am going to install a remote magnetometer in the wing out near the tip. The wing had a plastic tube conduit put in prior to closing to facilitate wiring. Two questions: I want to run both the magnetometer and the lighting wires in the conduit. Will this create an interference problem? I have a 20' network cable that should be long enough but would like to break it at the wing root to facilitate wing installation/removal. Suggestions for connector(s)?

The wiring itself shouldn't cause an interference problem, but, you want to keep the magnetometer itself away from other wires/ferrous metal/current carrying sources.

Thanks. I understood the magnetometer needed to be away from electrical stuff. Can you recommend a connector for the wiring at the wing root?
